Merry Metal Fest

Its done. December 17th, a day of reckoning at House of Blues. The earth stood still as Carry the Storm, Decimation Theory, Carrion Sun, Will to Live and Elder Gods took the stage and brought forth a fury that even the darkest depths of Hell could not contain. If you were not there, I am sorry. It is a night that will not be forgotten for the 1000+ people who experienced it.

Highlights from the night are here. These are my personal favorites from the night, in no particular order. If you want to see more photos, you will want to find the bands on Facebook, besides, you should want to be following them anyway. Amazing stuff is coming out right now and you shouldn’t miss it.

Carry The Storm and a Merry Metal Fest at House of Blues

I just finished up the images for Carry The Storm. We had perfect weather, had a fabulous nature hike and just had an overall good time. I really had a hard time deciding what images to show off in my portfolio. Please, take a look here to see what made the cut and hit up Carry the Storm on FaceBook to keep up to date with the band.

Also, while I have your attention:

Do you want to see Carry the Storm Live? How about a killer show, at the House of Blues along with an amazing line up of top Houston Metal? What if I told you, that you can catch the show for free. Here are the details:

“Carry the Storm, Decimation Theory, Carrion Sun, Will to Live and Elder Gods will take the main stage at the House of Blues to show this town what the local Houston metal scene is all about. Decimation Theory will be releasing their E.P. “Dystopiate” this night as well. Wanna go for free?! Meet up with a member of one of the bands or stop by a show for your free tickets! You don’t wanna miss out on this. They won’t be free once show time arrives. A free show on the main stage of the best venue in town showcasing some of the local metal talent under the best lights and sound. This opportunity doesn’t come around every day. Don’t miss out on this one. It’s gonna be epic!”

I hope to see you out at the show, it really will be one for the record books. I have a few tickets left for the show I can give out, or see any of the bands and they will fix you up. I hear that tickets at the door are going to be 5 dollars, so get in while you can.
